The Winters Creek Lodge at Mount Rose is a modern, comfortable setting with dramatic ceilings and a striking glass facade. The view brings the mountain into the space, creating a warm and special feel for what has become coined the “locals” side of Mount Rose. Located on the southeastern-most edge of the Slide Bowl, the new building is based on a style popular in Europe, which brings the valley architecture into the mountains. The vaulted timber ceilings, massive stone pillars and fireplaces give an Old Tahoe feel to the Chateau’s thoroughly modern facility. The luxurious grand ballroom and spacious covered deck overlook the golf course, with panoramic mountain and lake views completing the picture. The wedding ceremony can be performed on the lawn outdoors. The Grille at The Chateau is a full restaurant with indoor and patio dining, professional Executive Chef, and outstanding culinary staff. This facility accommodates up to 600 guests, but can be easily divided into two or three rooms for fewer guests.
